Conference Venue

The main venue for the scientific part of the conference will be the lecture hall 218 of the main building of the University of Rostock in the city center. So we will meet in the building shown below.

Rostock

Rostock is a coastal town in the north of Germany with a Hanseatic flair. The first record concerning Rostock dates from 1218. The picture below shows the market place (Neuer Markt) with the town hall on the right side and the church St. Marien. The University of Rostock was founded in 1419 and is the oldest university in the Baltic sea area.

How to reach Rostock 

Foreign guests usually travel via Hamburg, Berlin or Frankfurt airports. From these three cities there are regular train connections to Rostock. From Hamburg and Berlin it takes about 3 hours, from Frankfurt about 7 hours, see (Deutsche Bahn (DB)). Alternatively, buses can also be used (Flixbus).

Accommodation
